The Sun
29 June 2011

Did you know that the sun is a star and it is the closest one to earth?

We have been learning about the sun and the physical effects it has on the heat and light available to Earth. It has been interesting learning about how the earth orbits the sun and why the length of the days change at different times of the year. Many classes have studied their shadows to observe how they change over the course of the day.
